Refund Policy for Students Who Do Not Proceed

We understand that circumstances can change, and we strive to be fair and transparent in our refund policy. The information below outlines the general refund policy and guidelines for students who apply but ultimately decide not to proceed.

Non-refundable Fees:
The following fees, charges and costs incurred based on the company in processing applications listed below are non-refundable.

Administrative costs: These are associated with processing your application.
Recruitment costs: Associated with attracting and recruiting qualified students.
Legal and compliance costs: ensuring adherence to relevant legal regulatory requirements, advisory and consultation.
Career guidance team costs: These are associated with support services provided during the application process.

Changes in Circumstances:
We acknowledge that unforeseen situations can arise and strive to be understanding. For instance, we recognise that the Skilling Funds Levy may only be refundable in specific, limited circumstances.

Processing Timeframes:
All refund requests are assessed individually per the company's internal administrative policies reflecting Refundable and Non-refundable Fees and processed accordingly within 30 Working Days.

WITHDRAWAL, REFUND, AND READMISSION POLICY

1. Withdrawal Before Programme Commencement

  • The last day to submit a written notice of withdrawal is 10 days before the first scheduled class of the programme.
  • Students who withdraw by this deadline will receive a full refund of tuition fees paid.
  • The enrolment fee (as stated in the fee schedule) is non‑refundable under all circumstances.
  • Students who fail to attend more than two (2) consecutive classes without prior notification will be placed under Unauthorised Withdrawal (UW) status. This will be treated as a formal withdrawal, and the refund schedule in Section 2 below will apply.
2. Withdrawal After Programme Commencement
The following tuition charges will apply based on the official date of withdrawal:
  • Before completing 40% of the programme: 25% of the total tuition fee will be charged.
  • After completing 40% of the programme: 100% of the total tuition fee will be charged.
  • For students on a payment plan: the payment plan agreement will be terminated upon withdrawal, and the full outstanding balance becomes due and payable immediately.
3. Postponement (Deferment)
  • A student may apply for postponement by submitting a formal request with valid supporting reasons (e.g., medical, personal, or financial grounds).
  • All postponement requests are subject to review and written approval by the Dean.
  • Approval is granted for a maximum of one academic year. Tuition fees already paid will be carried forward, subject to the Dean’s discretion.
4. Readmission
  • A student who has formally withdrawn from EDUk8U may apply for readmission by submitting a completed Application for Readmission Form.
  • readmission fee of RM 500 + 6% SST applies for all successful readmission applications.
  • Readmission is not guaranteed and is subject to programme availability, academic standing, and approval.
